ABC News says Robin Roberts will be back on the job at the “Good Morning America” anchor desk on Feb. 20. Her return will be five months to the day since her bone marrow transplant to treat a rare blood disorder.
Rex Reed of The New York Observer made his feelings very clear this week in an Identity Theft Review, the critic is not a fan of the comedy. That's fine but Reed is recieving a ton of backlash due to his personal attack against Melissa McCarthy.
In his critique, Reed refers to the star as a "female hippo," adding that she is "cacophonous" and tractor-sized."
"Melissa McCarthy (Bridesmaids) is a gimmick comedian who has devoted her short career to being obese and obnoxious with equal success," writes Reed. "Poor Jason Bateman. How did an actor so charming, talented, attractive and versatile get stuck in so much dreck?"
Ouch that is below the belt! Are these fair criticisms for a critic to make?
Even the Justin Bieber haters will like SNL this Saturday night because they will be making fun of Bieber. Acccording to him nothing is off limits so it should be real entertaining. Justin is the second youngest ever to host SNL, that honor goes to Brittney Spears! Here is a taste of what to expect for the show. I'm really liking Keenan Thompson more and more that dude is FUNNY!!
“During the course of preparing for my successful appeal last year, my attorneys, who were previously familiar with Tony Bosch, used him as a consultant. More specifically, he answered questions about T/E ratio and possibilities of tampering with samples.
“There was a dispute over compensation for Bosch’s work, which is why my lawyer and I are listed under ‘moneys owed’ and not on any other list.
“I have nothing to hide and have never had any other relationship with Bosch.
“I will fully cooperate with any inquiry into this matter.”
This story makes a lot of sense, his name was never under any specific Performance Enhancing Drugs. Will this clear Ryans name and reputation?
Don't get me wrong their were some great serious commercials. (Farmer with Paul Harvey, and Budweiser Clydesdale) When I think of ads during the big game, I think of the ones that make you laugh really loud. This would be one of them! I also didn't see it coming that this was for Taco Bell.
No room for stereotypes here about how slow grandpa and grandma drive, or at least not with this grandma. She was busted four times for speeding in less than three hours, oh and ummm, she had some marijuana on her too (You know, for her glaucoma).
Lorretta Lacy, 49, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota was first clocked in her Chrysler sedan going 112 mph in an effort to make it to her granddaughters dance recital in Racine, Wisconsin. She was cited for speeding, no proof of insurance and a small amount of weed was found on her as well, but was confiscated by the police. Lacy was then pulled over again 20 miles down the road, clocked this time, at 99 mph. She was again cited for speeding and no proof insurance. Her third citation came about an hour later for going 88 mph in a 70 (Insert Back To The Future joke here). The last of her four tickets came just outside of Rochester, Minnesota where she was again clocked at 88 mph.
As for her granddaughters dance recital she was trying so desperately to get to on time, the question still remains, did she make it? According to Lacy’s daughter Carrie Freeman, “She got pulled over four times, so, no.
Okay for all you crime drama lovers, I have a show for you. It's on Monday nights on Fox and after one episode I was hooked. The second one was just as good. It offers so many twist and turns, and keeps you on the edge of your seat. I can't wait for the 3rd episode. If you have Hulu Plus you can watch it that way cause it's only 2 episodes in but I strongly recommend it. I forgot to mention 54 year old Kevin Bacon still has IT!!
Anybody else love this show as much as I do?
