Foodie Trips: Book It To Japan's Kit Kat Store

by Jeff Flynt

Those of us who love candy tend to be partial to one kind or another. A lot of times that can lead to a fight to the death over which candy is superior.

If you're on "Team Kit Kat" then Japan would be the place for you. Japan is apparently famous for its Kit Kats by providing residents with a myriad of flavors that run from awesome to really?

So I guess it was only a matter of time before they built the world's first Kit Kat store, dubbed "Kit Kat Chocolatory".

According to this post on Kotaku, "The specialty shop is teaming up with sweet shop Le Patissier Takagi for its gourmet Kit Kat store, with pastry chef Yasumasa Takagai overseeing and developing new Kit Kats."

My favorites would be Citrus Golden Blend, Purple Sweet Potato, Special Cherry Blossom Green Tea and Brown Sugar Syrup. And yes, I would be bold enough to try the Wasabi and Special Chili.

These are the kinds of foodie excursions I would sign up for. For me, I would be willing to settle for some of these flavors making its way over to this side of the world.
