MCA from the Beastie Boys passed away last week from throat cancer. He couldn't make the induction ceremony this past year when the Beastie Boys were put in the Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame. Just a shame. Stac' jammed the Beastie Boys all weekend..Cecily Knobler out in Hollywood very bummed about the news. Whether you know the Beastie Boys or not..you'll know this song! Love this video!!

They're from Sweden and have become quite the YouTube sensation. They do covers of a lot of tunes we play on WIFC...give 'em a listen and see if you too become an Instant Fan!!!

WIFC..we gotz this 80's thing down!
It's simple..you play the music people love and they will come..and they will dance! We learned that with our "WIFC Totally 80's for a Cause" this past Friday. What I loved was that people "got it"..when it comes to their outfits. Listeners wore the leg warmers, the collars up, the "one glove" look and this guy in this photo I took. He not only had his Michael Jackson outfit..he had the moves AND he had the tattoo that paid tribute to Michael Jackson..love all that! So..yes..we'll do it again next year.
