Jay Z is happy with  his new Roc Nation signee, Rita Ora who is currently opening for Coldplay on their European tour. Not bad for the 21-year-old London native.

Jay also reflected on the first time he saw Ora perform. “The first time I truly saw her on stage was at the Cartier event in New York City,” he recalls. “To have that sort of stage presence and that sort of energy — the music went off and she still was like — she still wanted to go. She jumped off the stage at one point and was dancing with the crowd. It was a great moment.”

“She has that bit of punk rock feeling to her which I love,” he added.

Yep, it’s official. Everybody loves Rita Ora.  I predicted this song to be the biggest summer time jam, I might just be right.  Do you like it?

Big props to Saturday Night Live's Jay Pharoah, i've never laughed so hard on this impression of ESPN's Steven A Smith.  It is spot on!!

Reunited rockers Van Halen have stunned fans by cutting 30 dates on their summer tour without explanation.The band has pulled the plug on all shows including stops in Milwaukee.  This doesn't come as a shock but Eddie Van Halen, his son Wolfgang and brother Alex and David Lee Roth are fighting like crazy.  Eddie and Davd absolutely hate each other, it's been like that for a long time.  I hope you didn't have tickets to see them in Milwaukee.

This is Woodlake Hills Middle School student Patrick Gonzalez.  Okay, more like this is the back of his head.  Gonzalez has a tribute to San Antonio Suprs fellow red head Matt Bonner, shaved in the back of his head.  It might just get him a suspension now.  This is according to the schools, Chancellor:  “There was no permission that was given if the parent thought that then it was a miscommunication,” said Aubrey Chancellor, Judson I.S.D. District officials say the haircut is a distraction. “Whether it’s the spurs or whether it’s the cowboys anything people obviously support, it doesn’t matter.”

  I say let this young man and his favorite basketball player shaved into his head live in peace.  He is not hurting anybody.  Do you think a suspension is warranted??

Since Adam Yauch's death on May 4th, tributes to both MCA and the Beastie Boys have been all over, but this might just be the best one.  James Winters, a Portland-based filmmaker, created the video with the help of his wife, kids and nephew in order to pay tribute to MCA.

Car chases and jumping off ledges, however silly they were portrayed in the original video, are a bit too dangerous for children, so this remake gets a few changes: high-rise buildings are replaced by playground equipment, a regular-sized pool is traded in for a kiddie pool, and a suitcase full of cocaine becomes a suitcase with a Pop Rocks wrapper.   Seriously isn't this one of the coolest tributes ever??

Ashland High rocker Trace Cyrus has stunned fans but showing off a new tattoo on the side of his head.  He also said can't wait till next week to tattoo the other side of my head.  Trace has a love for body art, and it actually cost his former band Metrostation opening for his half sister Miley in 2009, because her managers didn't like the way he looked.  I wonder what the guiness book of world records is for most tattoos cause he is almost there!

Wow what a weekend for me.  I took a road trip to Des Moines, Ia and went to lazerfest.  I saw 13 bands, including Shinedown, Buckcherry and the rock god himslef Slash just to name a few.  It's a yearly tradition for me and my brothers now.  If you like your music a little bit heavy I definately recommend going to next years show.  One of the bands that really blew me away was Volbeat.  They are a danish heavy meatal band, and they put on one heck of a show for the fans.  They covered this song from wayyyyyyy back like 1963, remember Dusty Springfield-I Only Want To Be With You.  This is the metal version and no thats not Elvis but he sure sounds like him!!

Justin Bieber has the money to give his mom Pattie Mallette just about anything, but we all know something you make yourself can be the best gift of all. Bieber took that to heart and released a song about his mom, just in time for Mother's Day.

"Turn to You" is a personal song following his mother's hardships raising Justin before he became a big star.  All proceeds are going to benefit single moms around the country.  What do you think of his new song?

One Direction star, Harry Styles has flown to Los Angeles alone to pursue a big solo project.  He has already caught the eye of a number of companies who all want to meet him.  The companies had this to say:  "He's a poster boy in the States.  He has the perfect look, cute, British, Well spoken and girls love his curly hair.  He's a corporate company's dream.  How long till he says goodbye to One Direction??

For Mother’s Day, Justin Bieber is planning on spoiling moms everywhere.

He is releasing the song, Turn To You this Friday as both a tribute to his mother and a way to help mom’s in need.  All the proceeds for the song will go to help out single moms everywhere!

Seriously now how cool is that?
