One of childhood’s most cherished summer traditions is starting up a lemonade stand. For a 9-year-old boy with autism, it was also a way to raise money for SickKids hospital, as he had every summer for the past three years. However a grumpy neighbor apparently didn’t think a sunny day in July was the time nor was a quiet Toronto area neighborhood the place for children selling lemonade: She shouted at the boy, then offered to give him $5 to shut down the stand, and finally called the cops on him for not having a vendor’s license. He ended making over a 100 dollars, the nerve of this neighbor!!
