When you lose a pet, you lose a family member. That face and wagging tail has been there for you everyday when you wake up, when you come home, and when you just need to talk something through. They're great listeners.
It's not easy to handle the death of your longtime friend. You may need to talk about it and now there's a place with caring people who are there for you. It's called APLB. That stands for the Association for Pet Loss and Bereavement. They have professionally trained volunteers for counseling, chat rooms, support, training programs and more. It's FREE and membership is NOT required but you may want to join. They're friendly and can help you through your loss.
