CORONER LOOKING INTO A LEAK OF BRITTANY MURPHY'S DEATH DETAILS INFO

Coroner's officials in Los Angeles are looking into how TMZ got details on prescription drugs that were included in an investigator's report on the death of Brittany Murphy.

The Assistant Chief Coroner is worried that other details of the investigation could be leaked.

The TMZ report said that the investigator found bottles of prescription medications in Brittany Murphy's name at the home where she died. The medications ranged from depression and anti-anxiety meds to painkillers. Medications were also found in the name of Murphy's husband, Simon Monjack.

TMZ wouldn't say how it got the report.

The coroner's office is looking into the possibility that the report was sent to an outside agency and TMZ got it that way.

(Brittany Murphy died Sunday after collapsing at her home. Police and the coroner's office are investigating the death, but detectives have found no evidence of foul play.)
