Simon Cowell and 36 year-old make-up artist Mezhgan Hussainy are (allegedly) set to go public as a couple.

They were spotted on a date at Mr Chow in London.

A source said: “Simon is ready to let everyone know. Things between them are moving along very nicely indeed.

“Their relationship has been conducted under a cloak of secrecy but the situation has now changed.”

Mezhgan was born in Afghanistan before moving to the US in the early 80s.
