A source told E! News that Grammy Awards producers have been trying to get Michael Jackson's children-Prince Michael, Paris and Blanket-into the tribute for their dad.

The Grammys tribute will feature a 3-D mini movie set to MJ's "Earth Song" that was going to be featured in his This is It tour.

The source said: "They've been working on everything from them singing to just making an appearance."

A source close to the Jackson family told E! News that, as of last night, the children "might" be there.

The source also confirmed that members of the Jackson family are scheduled to attend the Grammys.
