The Backstreet Boys have caused controversy with heavy metal fans in India after the group was announced ahead of Iron Maiden as the headliner for the upcoming Rock In India Festival.
Iron Maiden closed the show last year.
Festival promoters have been getting criticism for this year's lineup, which ditched metal bands in favor of more mainstream acts like The Backstreet Boys and Richard Marx.
The Rock In India Festival will kick off in Delhi on February 20th and in Bangalore on February 22nd.
