A surprise on last night's finale of ABC's " The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love ".   Bachelor Jake Pavelka proposed to "bad girl" Vienna Girardi , rather than fan favorite Tenley Molzahn.

 Vienna agreed to marry the commercial pilot on the verdant island of St. Lucia, the setting for the two-hour finale.

Meanwhile, Jake said goodbye to a tearful Tenley, saying, "We have had such an amazing time getting to know each other, and there are just so many things that I love about you. I love that we have the same values and the same morals and the same temperament. I mean, just your smile and your positivity, and I do love you. I mean you're just perfect as you are. And I don't what it is. Something just doesn't feel right. I don't know why."

(Jake and Vienna haven't set a wedding date but sherwill would soon move to Dallas, where Pavelka lives.)

FOR THE RECORD:   Only four of the 13 previous couples are still together.

Next week, ABC will air a wedding special of last year's bachelor, Jason Mesnick , marrying Molly Malaney.
