Carrie Underwood donates concert proceeds to Sandy relief

Carrie Underwood is doing her part to help with the relief effort needed after superstorm Sandy damaged the east coast.

Underwood recently performed in Atlantic City and decided that the proceeds from the show will go to the relief effort, states People. “I wouldn’t feel right making any money off of tonight’s show, so anything I make is going right back into the community here,” Underwood commented.

But this isn’t even her first donation as, since September, $1 of every ticket sold for her concert has been donated to the Red Cross.
