Miley Cyrus gets pig from PETA for birthday

Miley Cyrus recently turned 20 years old, and she celebrated by getting a pig from PETA.

PETA decided to sponsor the pig, Nora, in Cyrus’ honor for her big birthday, states UsMagazine.com. The pig is a resident at Kindred Spirits Sanctuary, a farm in Ocala, Florida.

PETA also revealed why they decided to sponsor the pig on her behalf for the birthday: “Miley proved her affection for pigs when she retweeted a PETA action alert to her 10 million followers asking them to urge Walmart to ban its suppliers from cruelly confining pigs to tiny metal-barred gestation crates for months at a time.”
