Tom Cruise files $50 million lawsuit against magazine

Tom Cruise isn’t one to let rumors be spread about him which is why he is suing a magazine over the claim that he is not staying in touch with his daughter, Suri.

Cruise reportedly filed a $50 million lawsuit against ‘In Touch’ and ‘Life & Style’ as both reported that he has abandoned his daughter after splitting up with Katie Holmes, states TMZ. The lawsuit claims that the stories are completely false which is why he is suing for defamation and invasion of privacy.

“Tom doesn’t go around suing people.  He’s not a litigious guy.  But when these sleaze peddlers try to make money with disgusting lies about his relationship with his child, you bet he’s going to sue,” Cruise’s lawyer commented. It is also reported that any money he gets from the case will go toward charity.
