The Eeelooosive Walleye...

Boaters are at it RIGHT NOW for Wisconsin's fav, at least one of them..the Walleye! Nekoosa even has "Walleye Days" to commemorate the Walleye being such a big deal. I was in Wisconsin Rapids over Easter weekend visiting my Aunt and Uncle and they showed me a few newspaper pics of guys who'd caught some big ones already. One was over 28 inches..can't really call it a "Pan" fish 'cause it won't fit in the pan!! Sounds like there's still more opportunities to experience Walleye Days through around April 18th. I see jigs in our future!
