Important Broadcast Thursday...

Well here we go..why is Thursday so important on-the-air? Because this week is when broadcasters lay on the steam towards defeating the Performance Tax Bill. Congressmen who literally hold the future of radio in their hands will be on break. Dave Obey will be in Rib Mountain for an unrelated visit BUT HE WILL BE here! So..Stac' and I are simulcasting WIFC along with our sister stations and dedicating an hour of our show to explaining the Performance Tax Bill and how it'll effect you and our community. What that means is we'll be broadcasting on all of our stations in Central Wisconsin from 8-9am Thursday morning. We'll cover 1)...What is the Bill 2)...the effect of passing the bill will have 3)...what we can do to defeat it. Remember that if this bill passes..money goes to foreign-based record companies and radio jobs..tons of them will be lost. This is very important...I hope you tune in. ((Bonus Keyword: "spotlight"))
