Should Packer Fans Boo??

A great 48 hours with all the hype leading up to Sunday night's Battle Royal with the Packers playing the Vikings at Lambeau! I write this blog on the news also that Brett Favre does have a fractured ankle and is questionable to play this coming week. Sad news there. Packer fans don't want to see Brett hurt. But when it's game day and remembering that Brett doesn't play for the Packes anymore..is it okay to boo him? That's the big question for me today. I ask this question on-air, on Facebook..everywhere to see where people are at on this topic. One person said it was "classless" of the Packer fans to boo Brett. Another said that we have to respect him as a former Packer and cheer him. And another said (like a lot of people say now-a-days).."doesn't matter what Brett does..I love him!" So it's clear that there is no right answer...too many sides to the Brett Saga. In my opinion..you live in the moment. And if it's game day..you cheer for your team. You boo the other team and their superstars! There will be plenty of time to stand as NFL football fans and applaud Brett Favre for his fantastic acheivements..right now since he's a Viking..isn't one of those times.
