Almost there...

Yep..you can see it happening before your eyes. The slow ride to major, awesome fall color. The Fall Ride just happened in Tomahawk, Wisconsin. The Harvest fests are being planned. In the next week and half..BOOM..it'll be color-central from about Stevens Point, Wausau and north. One idea for ya. Take the chair lift and seek color. Rib Mountain is the place..you know I go there to hike all the time. they're running the chair lift for 2 or 3 weeks on the weekends to show off the fall colors. I think it's like $8.00 to ride. A lot of people take the chair lift ride to the top, hike around on the Rib Mountain trails and then ride the chair lift back down. Just an idea.
