I had a dream that I was on vacation in a hotel and I couldn't seem to check out. I became an employee in housekeeping and every room I would go in was a hospital room. I never could complete my job and I was even rained on in some rooms. - Peggy 43, Pemberville, OH

Lauri: Just as you couldn't get out of the hotel, are you in a situation in real life you can't seem to get out of? The rain suggests there is sadness you have been dealing with. The reference to housekeeping and the hospital rooms seem to point to the same thing: there is some healing and cleansing that needs to happen... or that you have begun to work on. The good news is that this all took place in a hotel which means the current situation is temporary. 

Peggy replies:  I have been through quite a lot in my past. I was injured, was in a coma and during this illness my relationship fell apart and I had to take back my life and my kids. I was alone for 5 years (healing) as a single Mom. My eldest daughter got ovarian cancer at 15, now at 21 she has had 13 surgeries. Doing better, but you could say we are wounded warriors trying to move forward. I gave up my job in the medical field. Found love again after 5 years, my best friend. Lost my house of 10 years and now just trying to find my place in the world. I feel like I can never get anything done, including house work.

Lauri replies:  Remember, your dream is showing you that all that pain you've gone through is only a temporary place to be in, just as a hotel is a temporary place to be in. It seems the healing and cleansing are definitely taking place since you did take the job with housekeeping in the dream. You are ready to work on this in real life. Good luck!
