R&B singer and producer Ne-Yo revealed that he discovered teen sensation Justin Bieber before Usher. According to straightfromthea.com, Ne-Yo revealed that Justin covered one of his songs on Youtube, which stirred up a big buzz.

Afterward, Justin came to a show and performed, but Ne-Yo didn't do anything because he was only 11 years old. Ne-Yo states the following:

“He came to a show and performed and was incredible then, but I didn’t do anything because he was just 11-years-old.”

Well this was a big lose for Ne-Yo, because four years later Justin auditioned for Usher and was signed to Island Def Jam by chairman Antonio “L.A.” Reid, and now he is a big teen sensation and platinum selling artist.

However, Ne-Yo feels a little differently about Justin Bieber's success than most. He commented on the matter, and added that he was okay, but managed to throw a low blow and comments that Justin’s hits aren’t memorable and he still has some work to do.
