Justin Bieber Annoys Police With Water Balloon Prank
Teen sensation Justin Bieber upset two Maryland state troopers ahead of his concert on Sunday after throwing water balloons at them.
A police spokesperson claims the Canadian was "horsing around with members of his staff" before his sold-out gig at the Maryland State Fair, and hurled the balloons, filled with water, at two officers who were controlling the crowds.
One of the balloons hit a cop's gun belt and burst, while another balloon bounced off the other trooper.
The officers decided not to write up a report but the police representative has deemed the Baby hit-maker's actions "inappropriate behavior".
There's no way around it, award shows are boring. Hours upon hours of celebrities thanking people you've never heard of, people wearing clothes by designers they can barely pronounce and movies you've never seen racking up awards. And then there's the MTV Video Music Awards...full of can't miss moments, awkward celebrity encounters and enough over-the-top fashion to make your eyes sting.
Who can forget Lil' Kim's unforgettable mermaid-inspired, breast-liberating number from 1999? Or last year when Kanye West tried to pass Hennessey off as an accessory?
One year after Kanye West stole Taylor Swift's thunder in epic fashion at the MTV Video Music Awards, the attention seeker is at it again, however, this time she's fighting back.
Last weekend, West tweeted that he "wrote a song for Taylor that's so beautiful," and if she rejects it, then he'll perform it for her. Well, warm up that Auto-Tune machine, Kanye, because sources tell me she wants nothing to do with it.
"Taylor writes her own sounds and has been very successful at it," a record executive tells me. "Why would she want to sing one of Kanye's songs? The last thing she wants to do is give him any more attention or make him any money."
Good news for Michael Douglas! The actor revealed in a new interview with USA Today that his tumor is actually getting smaller. He really opened up about how his treatment is going, how he feels, and how he told his kids.
"I like my odds,” Douglas said. “I'm not dealing with mortality issues until they tell me, 'Oops, we have to go back and do surgery' or something like that," Douglas says. "The tumor is shrinking. The odds are good."
During the chat, Douglas reportedly poked fun at himself and his condition. "There's never a really great time for cancer, but this is one for the books," he laughed. "Actually I was doing really good, but today has not been great."
Douglas reportedly drank aloe-infused water during the interview to soothe his throat, and admitted he was trying not to let the cancer get to him yet.
