One mom had to choose between seeing her son play in a Little League game with a chance at the World Series on the line or keeping her job.  She chose baseball.

Billie Ann Tomei lost her job when she decided against an ultimatum from her boss and watched her son Cole play and her husband Trevor coach in the regional tournament.  Tomei says she wasn't allowed time off to see the LLWS berth game and was fired when she went away.  The boss said to her, "If you go, write yourself your last check."

Wow I really don't know the situation with work so I won't rip the boss, but why wouldn't her workplace give her a little bit of a break, for this one time situation.  If you were in her shoes would you choose:  The game or your job??
