Was it a foul mouthed, talking bear or Channing Tatum in a sparkling G-String?  Surprisingly the stuffed animal was victorious.  Family Guy creator Seth Macfarlane's comedy earned 54.1 million dollars.  The 3rd best debut ever for an R rated comedy behind The Hangover 2 and Sexy And the City.  However it was the best debut for an original comedy storyline.  Sorry ladies you still get the image of Channing Tatum in a sparkling thong!!
