Commerical pilot Ryan Thompson took his girlfriend for a ride to view the Chicago skyline.  What she didn't know was Thompson planned an elaborate and terrifying prank before proposing.  Midway through the flight he told her that the plane was experiencing a serious malfunction and asked her to read the emergency manual.  She actually thought something was wrong and that they would crash.  As the plane appears to be descending out of control she reads the phony instructions which instruct the passengers to being the, "Ring Engagement Procedure.  She still thinks she's reading an  emergency response plan and continues reading the next step of instructions, which say," "Determine if he is a good mate," and "Note: He will always love and honor you."  Amazingly she not only accepted the proposal but wasn't even upset with him over the prank.
