SINCE SCHOOL HAS JUST STARTED, I AM REMINDED OF THE BAND STUDENTS...OH, HOW THEY GOT TEASED IN MY SCHOOL.  GEEKS, NERDS, ETC...

I PLAYED THE CLARINET AND TRUMPET-TWO VERY DIFFERENT INSTRUMENTS BUT WORTH THE TIME AND EFFORT.  WELL, THE FACT THAT I HAD A CRUSH ON A DRUMMER ALSO HELPED BUT THAT'S BESIDE THE POINT. 

What I'm getting at is how important it is to follow your passion.  If you like band, be in the band.  If you like sports, play sports.  Be who you want to be.  I think there is some amazing talent waiting to be revealed out there.  Some musicians that are waiting to blossom.  Alto Reed is one of many "band geeks" out there who make a nice living and love what they do...Billy Joel, Elton John, Lady Gaga, Eddie and Alex Van Halen, the list goes on and on...these are all people who play instruments and are rock stars.
