The Packers decided to go balls to the wall against the Cardinals on Sunday and it worked out as they hammered Phoenix 33-7. The only blip might be CHarles Woodson's shoulder injury although he is expected to play on Sunday. The Cardinals pulled alot of their regulars early although Larry Fitzgerald and Tim Hightower played deep into the game. Phoenix also lost their top cover cornerback Antonio Rogers-Cromarte and Aaaron Rodgers was able to exploit that. You've got to like the Packers in the re-match this Sunday. They are playing as well as anyone right now. Look for the Pack to move on. I also like Dallas, Cincy and NE this week.
The Badger basketball team rolled over Penn State on Sunday setting up an early season showdown with Michigan State at East Lansing. The Wednesday game should show us alot about the Badgers and their chances to compete for the Big Ten title.

Songs of the Day
Do It Again-Steely Dan (1972) the first single from their debut LP 'Can't Buy a Thrill" sounded different than anything else on the radio. The lyrics, the production and the crack muscianship from Fagen, Becker and the others like guitarist Denny Dias who played on the first 4 LPs and contributed a surprisingly listenable sitar solo on this one.
Do What You Want, Be Who You Are-Hall & Oates (1976) The critics called it "blue-eyed soul"...Daryl Hall & John Oates called it "Rock n Soul"...whatever it was was smooth pop that topped the charts for years. Check out this live performance from 2008...Hall still sounds good.
