The Milwaukee Bucks had been dodging some bullets lately. Scott Skiles says the team has started slowly in a number of games but were able to come back to win. Not this time. The Philadelphia 76ers, which had lost 8 of their last 9 beat the Bucks 101-86 last night at the Bradley Center. They will continue the homestand Friday night against Miami.

The WIAA State Girls Basketball Tournament begins today in Madison. Wausau Newman makes it's 7th trip to State. They play Weston this morning. Wausau West makes it's first trip to state and plays Middleton tonight. Led by seniors Jessica Waldvogel, Courtney Falk, Alex Nickel and Mackensie Fisher the Warriors should make some noise . This culminates a fantastic winter season for West. Hockey & Wrestling went to state and the boys basketball team won the Valley.

I really enjoy the new trend in TV programming in which cable networks have new seasons of shows year round instead of all in the fall & winter. Two of my favorites return next week....Law & Order:Criminal Intent & In Plain Sight return. Those along with Southland and another new winner "Justified" mean there will always be some good stuff to watch or DVR.
