Packer fans shouldnt be panicking over the loss of Ryan Grant to a season ending ankle injury. The NFL isnt really a running league anymore. Name the teams that feature 1 featured running back and a run heavy offense...outside of Minnesota, SF and Tennessee...the list is short. With Aaron Rodgers throwing slants to Donald Driver and hitting Jermichael Finley across the middle the Packers offense should not miss a beat. Brandon Jackson and John Kuhn will be servicable when the Packers need to run. Take a deep breath and move on...nothing to see here.
Major League Baseball released their schedule on Tuesday and the Brewers were handed a tough interleague schedule. They will play the Yankees and Red Sox on the road and Tampa Bay at Miller Park...that's along with their traditional home & home schedule against the Twins. the Brewers will open the season on the road in Cincinnatti on March 31st and the home opener is april 4th against the Braves.
Happy Birthday to the king of the spitter Gaylord Perry ...he's 72.
Songs of The Day (from my I-pod)
Go Back-Crabbey Appleton (1970) This is a great rock song...this band should have been bigger than they were. check out this crazy video from John Byner's show "What's Happening". One of the posters is right...the lead singer looks exactly like Hugh Jackman.
Go Back Home-Stephen Stills (1970) this was originally a cut from Stills' first solo Lp which featured an inciendiary guitar dual between Stills and Eric Clapton. This version is from a Manassas concert from 1973 .
