It's been said that if Aaron Rodgers misses any significant time for the Packers you can write off the season. Graham Harrell's performance on Thursday did nothing to rid us of that perception. Harrell was 12-24 for 100 yards and two interceptions in the loss to the Browns. He also was called for intentional grounding in the end zone. The Pack also had no running game once again as the two quarterbacks led the team in rushing. Only two pre-season games remain until they start counting and you couldnt have picked a tougher opponent to start the season with than San Francisco.
A nice win for the Brewers last night. 4 home runs including a grand slam from Corey Hart. Also Ryan Braun had two homers breaking out of slump. The bullpen made it interesting in the ninth before Jim Henderson nailed it down. It will be very interesting to see how Doug Melvin revamps the bullpen in the off season. It needs to be blown up and rebuilt from scratch.
Its going to be a musical week.
