Did you catch the Sandy Relief Concert last night? It was an outstanding night of music which reached an estimated two billion people worldwide. It also features some outstanding sets of music...McCartney fronting Nirvana, Springsteen & Bon Jovi ripping up Born To Run, the Stones...The Who...Billy Joel...Roger Waters & Eddie Vedder with a half hour of tight Pink Floyd...tons of celebs working the phones and Billy Crystal trying to hold it all together. And Adam Sandler with a pretty funny & sometime risque re-write of Leonard Cohen's beautiful "Halleijuah". Unfortunatly I will never listen to that riveting song the same way ever again. I really enjoyed the fact that this was live with all of the boo-boos that go with a live performance. I'm sure it will be re-run a zillion times so you should catch it if you can...and if you can send them a few bucks so much the better.

Charles Woodson is a no-go for Sunday's matchup with the Bears. too bad since Brandon Marshall has been trash talking all week. it should be interesting...either he will have to eat his words or he's ready to go off for a monster game.

The Bucks were bange up and short-handed last night so they called on a familiar face. Drew Gooden, who has been sort of the forgotten man in the Bucks rotation this year, played 22 minutes and pulled down 10 rebounds ina 98-85 win over Sacramento. Brandon Jennings and Monta Ellis teamed for 36 points and Luc Richard Mbah Moute had 17 in his first start of the year. They also got a big game from Irsan Ilyasova off the bench with 16 points and 14 rebounds. They play at Cleveland on Friday night and the Clippers come to Milwaukee on Saturday.

The Badgers beat UWGB at the Kohl Center last night. Ryan Evans, who has been is a bad slump, led the scoring with 13. Wisconsin is now off until the 22nd when they host UW-Milwaukee.

Its Marathon Cup Hockey time. I'll have both games tonight from Greenheck on Foxsports1390 AM & 93.9 FM. First up is Mosinee vs Wausau West followed by East-DC Everest. The losers and winners tonight face off on Saturday night.
