Hot & Cold

Brandon Jennings of the Bucks is the definition of a "hot & cold" player. Some nights he's awful and some nights he is transcendent. Last night was one of those nights, Jennings had a season high 34 points with six assists and five rebounds as the Bucks beat Indiana 98-93. This coming off a Saturday night stinker against the Clippers. Jennings is in his contract year and I go back & forth trying to decide if the Bucks should make every effort to re-sign him. He can be the best player on the floor some nights and other nights he's terrible. Is that what you want from your best player or would you prefer a little more consistency. Milwaukee will never be a place where big name free agents flock...so when the team does draft a guy who can carry a team at times they have to think long and hard about letting him go. He seems like a good guy and doesnt seem to mind playing in a smaller market. I think if the Bucks decide to pay him he would stay. It's one of the bigger decisions the team has faced in awhile.

Milwaukee is right back in action tonight at Memphis. You can hear that game on Foxsports1390 and 93.9.

Greg Jennings said in a radio interview yesterday that he doesnt think he'll be back with the Packers next season. He's in a contract year and the Packers seem set at the WR position with Jordy Nelson, James Jones  and Randall Cobb. He says he'd like to return but if not he wants to use the rest of this season to show 31 other teams that he's healthy and ready to contribute.

Milwaukee Brewer GM Doug Melvin says he want to target veteran free agents for his bullpen. The pen was a weak spot for the team last season and they are lokking to replace K-Rod, Kameron Loe, Jose Veras and Manny Parra. Names that he mentioned include Jon Rauch, Kyle Farnsworth, Mike Gonzalez and JAson Frasor. It's hard to predict what the Brewers will do in 2013 until that bullpen situation is taken care of.

Songs of The Day  (from my I-pod)

License To Kill-Bob Dylan (1983) from the "Infidels" album...Bob's return to 'secular"music after his 3 album christian period. Produced by Mark Knofler it's a pretty strong set.

Lido Shuffle-Boz Scaggs (1976) from the awesome 'Silk Degree" album...it doesnt get much better than this
