Will the Milwaukee Brewers break up the current roster or will they try and make a run for a wild card spot? I don't think we will know anytime soon. They play nine games against the Pirates, Cardinals and Reds coming out of the all-star break, so certainly their fortunes could look alot different in a couple of weeks. Alot of teams want Zach Grienke. you already know that I think the Brewers should re-sign Grienke bu if they quickly fall out of the race, Doug Melvin will probably re-stock the high minors with the prospects he could bring in from a Grienke trade. The main problem has been the bullpen of course. If they could get back to the way they pitched last year Milwaukee could quickly vault back into the race.
The Bucks seem to be going all in. They have fixed their height problem...resigned Irsan...and may still be a player for another free agent guard.
Went to a family wedding this weekend in Madison and during the reception the crowd was treated to a visit by ten members of the Badger marching band and Bucky Badger. The bride & groom are UW alums and football season ticket holders and the crowd went crazy for all of the football tunes.
