It can't make Adrian Peterson happy. The Minnesota Vikings decided that a bunch of draft picks were better at this point than an oft-injured Percy Harvin. The Vikings reciever corp without Harvin is awful but could the team continue to rely on a player that missed alot of games with injuries and re-curring migraines. They get a first and 7th round pick this year and a mid round pick next year. If they use those picks and free agency to upgrae their receiver corps then it may turn out to be a good move. It would be a shame (not from the Packer fans perspective) to waste the prime years of one of the greatest running backs in NFL history by being a one-dimensional team
Also the 49ers heisted Anquin Boldin from the Ravens for a 6th round pick. that's after Bodlin refused to take a 2 million dollar pay cut. Before you label him as greedy, he made a good point. He said he signed his current contract in good faith and had no intention to demand more money if he out-performed the contract...so he sees no reason why he should have to take a cut because the team has salary cap problems. The Ravens were forced to sell low and the 49ers get a solid player at a very good price.
Bo Ryan was named the Big Ten Coach Of The Year last night. Its the 3rd time he has won the award. Trey Burke of Michigan was named Player of The Year.
