On the first day of the free agent signing period there were a number of interesting developments. The biggest for packer fans was the news that the team may be bringing back Greg Jennings. It appears that Jennings isnt generating the type of inteest he thought he would and so the decison my be between the Packers and Vikings. Let's see...who would you want throwing to you, Aaron Rodgers or Christian Ponder??
The Packers are also interested in running back Stephen Jackson but only at a price they are comfortable with. They are also bringing in Peyton Hillis for a visit this week.
The Pack did lose a player yesterday. Linebacker Erik Walden signed with Indy.
Other interesting football notes...The Bills cut QB Ryan Fitzpatrick less than two years after signing him to a 6 year $59 million deal....Tony Gonzalez is returning to the falcons for one more year...The Bears signed NYG TE Marcellus Bennett...Mike Wallace signed on with Miami.
The Bucks had a chance to pick up a full game on both Boston and Atlanta but couldnt do it last night. Vince Carter led Dallas over Milwaukee 115-108 at the Bradley Center. They are right back in action tonight on the road agaisnt the Washington Wizards.
Team USA crushed Puerto Rico 7-1 last night in the WBC. David Wright had five RBIS. The US will play the Dominican Republic Thursday night. The DR beat Italy 5-4.
The Woodchucks have announced that Cal-State Fullerton outfielder Austin Diemer will play here this summer. They will announce more player signings each Tuesday going forward.

Dancing Angel-Peter Banks (1976) the original YES guitarist before Steve Howe. He was fired after the first two albums and went on to other bands including Flash...he also had a solo career in the prog-rock field including this tune. He passed away last week in London
Dreams-Fleetwood Mac (1977) Stevie Nicks at the height of her powers. The new documentary on the making of her new album and her creative process "In Your Dreams will be in theaters on April 2nd. It will be shown this week at South by Southwest and Stevie will be there for a Q & A.
