Mumford & Sons bassist Ted Dwane has undergone emergency brain surgery to remove a blood clot on his brain. Apparently, Ted wasn't feeling well over the past couple days and then was taken in for emergency surgery.
Mumford & Sons had to cancel three upcoming shows this week due to Ted's surgery, but said they don't expect to cancel anymore shows after that. Ted is expected to recover quickly and return to their scheduled tour.
No word yet on when or if they will be making up the three cancelled shows that were to take place in Dallas, Texas; The Woodlands, Texas and New Orleans.
The band posted this message on their website mumfordandsons.com, "We're all wishing Ted a speedy recovery. Much love, Mumford & Sons."
Hopefully, everything goes well and he will be back on tour happy and healthy soon.
