TOWN OF ROCK FALLS, Wis. (WSAU) – A woman has died after the car she was riding in crashed through a guardrail and a power pole and came to rest on the ice just north of Rock Island in Lincoln County yesterday afternoon.
Ninety-four-year-old Eileen Taylor died at Aspirus Wausau hospital last night.
The car’s driver, 68-year-old Sandra Annis, was treated for injuries at Good Samaritan Hospital in Merrill.
The crash remains under investigation.
