STEVENS POINT, Wis. (WTAQ) - A woman has been convicted of plotting to kill her husband in Stevens Point. Carla Glodowski is scheduled to be sentenced May 28th, after pleading no contest in Portage County Circuit Court Wednesday. She struck a plea deal with prosecutors, and was found guilty of first-degree reckless injury.
Authorities said Glodowski was planning to run off with her lover after her husband James would be shot dead. Prosecutors said the woman and the boyfriend, Carlos Cummings, hired Linda Dietze to pull off the shooting. It happened last November at a park in Stevens Point, and James Glodowski survived. Cummings was sentenced to 14 years in prison for his role in the shooting, and Dietze got 7 years.
