(undated) - It’s a perfect day to target the government. Tax day has become a magnet for groups to meet and gripe about problems on national, state and local levels. The Tea Party of West Michigan is bringing most of the organizations under its banner together for a large-scale rally outside of the Ford Presidential Museum in Grand Rapids this evening, with Holland/Zeeland Patriots leader Jim Chiodo as the Master of Ceremonies. A similar “Take Our Country Back” gathering is planned for the noon hour in the center of Hudsonville’s business district, while a “Prayer for Civility” event meant to bring more moderation into these demonstrations is at 7 PM tonight in the Holland 7 theatre complex.
