MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WTAQ) - Prosecutors in Arizona have asked a judge to impose a gag order in the manslaughter case against self-help guru James Arthur Ray. Defense lawyers have been on national TV since Ray’s arrest last week for allegedly causing 3 deaths at a sweat lodge ceremony he held last October. 40-year-old James Shore of Milwaukee was among those who died at the event, which was part of a 5-day “Spiritual Warrior” retreat near Sedona Arizona. Ray’s lawyers have been on “Larry King Live” and other shows to refute claims by prosecutors. Ray is facing 3 charges of manslaughter, and he’s in jail under a $5 million bond.
