Racine Trucker Pleads Not Guilty In Fatal Stabbing

by

CHICAGO, Ill. (WTAQ) - A truck driver from Racine has pleaded not guilty to stabbing another Wisconsin trucker to death on the Interstate north of Chicago. 48-year-old David Seddon entered his plea Wednesday to a first-degree murder charge in the death of 40-year-old Allen Lauritzen of Sparta.

Authorities said the 2 were arguing on their CB radios January 15th when Seddon’s truck tailgated the other. Both drivers then reportedly pulled over and got into a fight – and Lauritzen was stabbed twice during that brawl. It happened on the shoulder of I-94, which is called the Edens Expressway, near the Chicago suburb of Northfield. Seddon is being held without bond. He’s due back in court March 22nd, when the judge and attorneys will review the status of the case.
