MARSHFIELD, Wis (WSAU) Marshfield police believe they've solved a string of burglaries that date back to December. Two U-W Stevens Point students are under arrest, accused of breaking into several homes and cars in the area.
The suspects are identified as 20-year-old Alexander Bahr of Granton and 19-year-old Samuel Sawicky of Appleton. They're being held in the Wood County jail pending court appearances later today.
The two were caught after an attempted burglary in Hewett early Saturday morning.
Police say they're be charged with at least five counts of burglary, three attempted burglaries, and two counts of theft from a motor vehicle.
