Wausau, Wi (WSAU) Democratic gubenatorial candidate Tom Barrett was in Wausau on Friday and spoke about job creation plans. He spoke with supporters at the Marathon County Courthouse, many of whom were local Democratic politicians. The Milwaukee mayor outlined his jobs plan and a program that helps businesses who develop new products. He did admit that spending cuts will need to happen in Madison as the government faces a big deficit but says it can be done without gutting programs that people need.
