KENOSHA COUNTY, Wis. (WTAQ) - A Burlington man was scheduled to appear in court Wednesday afternoon for allegedly killing a woman in a drunk driving crash on Memorial Day.
38-year-old Jorge Dominguez was charged in Kenosha County Wednesday morning with felony homicide by drunk driving and 6 traffic citations. Prosecutors said Dominguez drove through a stop sign late Monday night in the town of Paris, and hit another vehicle. A passenger in the other vehicle, 45-year-old Dawn Glogovsky, was killed. Her husband and 13-year-old son were both injured.
Authorities said Dominguez ran away on foot – and he hid someplace where an acquaintance picked him up. He was arrested a short time later when Kenosha County deputies stopped their van. According to the traffic citations, Dominguez was caught driving with a suspended license for the 4th time. His other counts include driving too fast for conditions, and not telling police about an accident.
