TOWN OF ZACHOW, Wis (WSAU) The Shawano County sheriffs department responded to a 9-1-1 yesterday morning about a man trapped in a grain elevator. It happened around 11am at the Stuart Sorensen Grain Elevator in Zachow.
Two men were inside leveling the corn while an auger was running when one become trapped. It took three hours to locate the body at the bottom of the bin.
50-year-old Gregory Siolka of De Pere was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident is still being investigated.
