MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WTAQ) - 2 men stole a car with an 8-month-old boy in the back seat. It happened at a Milwaukee gas station around 10 p.m. Sunday.
The boy’s mother was pumping gas, and she went inside to pay while a man and the baby stayed in the car. Police said the two suspects punched the man and pulled him out of the vehicle – and they drove off with the child still in back.
About 35 minutes later, somebody placed the baby on the hood of a squad car outside the police station. A woman alerted officers inside about the baby – but before they could get outside, the suspects drove off. They and the stolen car were still being sought at last word.
