KALAMAZOO COUNTY (WKZO) -- Tests on four private water wells in the red zone in Kalamazoo County conducted by Enbridge Energy found no trace of the crude oil that poured into the river from a ruptured pipeline in July.

The test did find small trace amounts of solvents that has apparently peaked the interest of county health officials. They were all below the levels considered dangerous.

A press release indicates county staff may do additional testing on wells along Plaza & Comstock Avenues and Sullivan Street in Comstock Township.
