Stevens Point, Marshfield, Fond du Lac rank highly on "best small cities" list

UNDATED (WSAU) Forbes Magazine is out with its annual list of the best small cities to raise a family in. Four Wisconsin cities made the list. Two are in Central Wisconsin.

Manitowoc came in 2nd, behind only the top choice Dubuque, Iowa.

Also on the list, Marshfield is 5th, Stevens Point in 6th, and Fond du Lac in 14th.

The list is based on factors like cost of living, crime rates, and educational opportunities. Only cities with populations under 100,000 were considered.
