The Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery star was being driven in her Lexus SLX through Los Angeles when her chauffeur had to stop at a police checkpoint.

Cops issued the man with a citation and seized the car after discovering his licence was invalid.

Glamour model Margolis then had to pick her vehicle up from the car pound and pay a $246 (£164) fee, reports TMZ.com.

She tells the website, ""(The cops) probably could have stopped my car from being towed from the location, but everyone was busy taking photos with me and asking for autographs. They lost track of what was happening with the car.""
