Michigan State junior point guard Korie Lucious had surgery yesterday to repair a small meniscus tear in his left knee. The operation will keep Lucious off the court for at least two weeks and possibly up to a month-and-a-half.

The Spartans Midnight Madness event is coming up October 15th at the Breslin Center with the first official practice set for the following day. Michigan State begins regular season play November 12th at home against Eastern Michigan.
