STEVENS POINT, Wis. (WSAU) – A 62-year-old Stevens Point woman is dead after an Monday afternoon accident.

Stevens Point Police responded to the 4500 block of Main Street to a report of a two car accident. The driver in one of the vehicles died after being transported to St. Michael's Hospital. The woman has not been identified pending notification of her next of kin.

Any other victims in the accident have not yet been identified. The accident is under investigation.
